Summary of You’re Beautiful
You’re beautiful is a musical- romantic comedy Korean drama with 16 episodes that also has its Taiwanese and its Japanese remake starring Jang Keun-suk as Hwang Tae-Kyung who is the lead vocalist and guitarist of A.N.JELL.
Tae-Kyung harbors a cold exterior but grows softer as he began to fall for Mi-nyeo. He is troubled by his past, and his distanced relationship with his mother and Park Shin-Hye as Ko Mi-nyeo who is a sweet and naive girl who aspires to become a nun. She is cajoled by her twin brother’s manager to disguise herself as her twin to help keep his place in the band A.N.JELL and to search for their mother.
At first, the deception is to last for a day, but circumstances result in it being prolonged. Jung Yong-Hwa is Kang Shin-woo who is a Bassist, rapper, and keyboardist of A.N.JELL. Shin-woo is the first to discover Mi-nyeo’s female identity, though he does not reveal this to anyone, including Mi-nyeo. Warm and gentle, he acts as Mi-nyeo’s guardian but soon develops feelings for her and also Lee Hong-gi as Jeremy who is also vocalist and drummer of A.N.JELL. Bright and optimistic, Jeremy tends to be oblivious of things around him. He begins to develop feelings for Mi-nyeo, and questions his sexuality because of it.
Ko Mi-Nyeo and Ko Mi-Nam (both played by Park Shin-Hye) are twin siblings. They were raised in an orphanage and never met their biological parents. Ko Mi-Nyeo is on her way to becoming a nun as an adult.
A weird man follows her as she is on her way to get a ticket to Rome. Ma Hoon-Lee (Kim In-Kwon) introduces himself as the manager of the popular boy band “A.N.JELL.” He also says that her twin brother Ko Min-Nam, who had recently joined the band, had been gravely injured and was taken to America to heal. Ma Hoon-Lee then begs Ko Mi-Nyeo to pretend to be her brother until he heals. Ko Mi-Nyeo unwillingly accepts to portray her brother for the sake of her brother.
Kang Shin-Woo (Jeong Yong-Hwa) of A.N.JELL finds Ko Mi-secret Nyeo’s first, but he keeps it to himself. Kang Shin-woo also tries to assist her without Ko Mi-knowledge. Nyeo also begins to have feelings for her.
Meanwhile, Hwang Tae-Kyeong (Jang Keun-Suk), singer/songwriter/vocalist for A.N.JELL, finds Ko Mi-secret. Nyeo’s Hwang Tae-Kyeong is a skilled pianist, but he has a chilly disposition and is a control freak. Hwang Tae-Kyeong first tries to force Ko Mi-Nyeo out of the band, but when he learns that she intended to locate her mother by performing on television with the band, he becomes sympathetic to her predicament.
By happenstance, pop singer Yu Hee-Yi (Uee) discovers Ko Mi-secret. Nyeo’s When the media mistakenly reports that Yu Hee-Yi and A.N.JELL band member Hwang Tae-Kyeong are dating, she employs Ko Mi-secret Nyeo’s to convince Hwang Tae-Kyeong that they are dating in front of the press. Yu Hee-Yi will inform the press at the appropriate time that they have broken up and that she has discarded Hwang Tae-Kyeong. Yu Hee-Yi will keep Ko Mi-identity Nyeo’s secret in exchange. To safeguard Ko Mi-Nyeo, Hwang Tae-Kyeong agrees to this agreement. Meanwhile, Yu Hee-Yi begins to harbor romantic emotions for Hwang Tae-Kyeon.
Ending of You’re Beautiful
After thinking it over, Tae-Kyung concludes Tae-Kyung: “I don’t want to admit it, but I’ve been dumped. Considering that she would come back when she was feeling better was my illusion. As she turns to proceed, Tae-Kyung reaches out to her, thinking it’s Mi-Nam.
