He has served as a Social Service Agent at the Korea Army Training Center in Nonsan for 18 months after graduating on August 31, 2006.
Namgoong Min plays Han Ji Hyuk, an elite field agent who was formerly regarded as the finest of the best at the National Intelligence Service, in “The Veil.” Namgoong Min trained for months to get into the greatest form of his life to prepare for his part, spending most of his days at the gym and eating a high protein diet. His efforts paid off handsomely, as he was able to thoroughly embody his role while also displaying the baggage and suffering that his character had undergone in the past. Namgoong Min won the Grand Prize (Daesang) at the 2021 MBC Drama Awards for his outstanding performance.
